Vijai – Tutoring Coordinator

My name is Vijai and I recently completed my fourth year of Honours Biological Science at the University of Guelph. As an aspiring medical student, my goal is to consistently develop myself, both personally and professionally, in order to equip me for future education and career opportunities. Perhaps most importantly, I strive to contribute to my community by helping other students in any way I can. Medical Wonders is a unique platform and an invaluable resource for students who are pursuing medicine. I am eager to work towards the ultimate goal of helping each student achieve their potential. 

Jasmine Kaur – Membership Coordinator

I joined Medical Wonders to continue fostering my passion for medicine and broaden my scope of the different career opportunities available within the medical field. 

Noor Muneeb – Marketing Director

Noor, a high school student from Long Island, NY, has a passion for educating and helping others and strives to manifest these interests into fundraising for Medical Wonders. In the future, she aspires to pursue academic medicine while working at a group practice as a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist. Outside of these interests, Noor enjoys dancing, reading, tutoring, and hanging out with her friends!

 Swati Mulchandani – Fundraising Director

My name is Swati Mulchandani. I am a highschool student interested in the field of medicine. I joined Medical Wonders because I absolutely believe in its cause and vision statement. I strongly believe in the importance of educating the youth about important concepts in the field of medicine. I also want to use this as an opportunity to develop my passion and dedication towards the field of Biology. 

 Simi Patel – Fundraising Coordinator

My name is Simi Patel and I am 15 years old. I’m a sophomore in high school and I joined Medical Wonders because their innovative approaches to spread medical information really intrigued me. I wanted to be able to learn more about the medical field since I am interested in hopefully someday joining the field and Medical Wonders seemed like a great place to start! 

 Banwo Opemipo – Marking coordinator

Hi, My name is Banwo Opemipo and i’m a highschool senior. I’ll be working to help organize account takeovers and lives, recruit medical professionals, fundraising and reaching a bigger audience for Medical Wonders. This will help me gain more experience and interact with new people as I pursue a career in medicine and surgery. I really look forward to working with Medical Wonders.

 Simrika Joshi – Outreach Coordinator

Hi everyone! My name is Simrika Joshi. I am seventeen years old and currently a high school student in North Carolina. I joined Medical Wonders because of my passion for medicine and my desire to give back to our community. In fact, I was inspired by the work that Medical Wonders has done throughout the years to join their team and contribute my ideas. I am excited to be a part of this great organization!

 Lanvy Phan – Intern

Hi everyone! My name is Lanvy Phan. I am 17 years old and a senior in North Carolina. I matched with Medical Wonders through a fellowship program and fell in love with its mission. As an aspiring physician, I wanted to learn more about the medical field and meet others who share the same interest. I hope to advocate for initiatives that alleviate racial disparities and better support low-income and uninsured individuals. Other than a love for medicine, I enjoy crocheting, reading, and learning piano from time to time (though I’m no good). I’m excited to support the team and further develop my passion for healthcare!
